General protection frame for the home comprising 7 ḥurūz, including:

• Li-an-naṣri ʿala l-'aʿdā': for victory over enemies, by the permission of l-Lāh;
• Ismu sayyidinā Muḥammad: against harm, sadness, misfortune, and for the fulfilment of requests by Allāh;
• Ḥirz li-fakk as-siḥr: to remove sorcery;
• Ḥirz li-radd al-kayd: to repel enemies’ plots;
• Al Kharīdah (nicknamed al ʿaroūs for its beauty): beneficial for 10 matters:
  • against sorcery and the harm of jinn
  • against the evil eye and plotting
  • to facilitate lawful ventures
  • for healing and sustenance (rizq)
  • against harm from humans and jinn
  • against envy (al ḥasad)
• Aḥruf an-Nurāniyyah: against siḥr, the harm of jinn, and human harm;
• Also includes sūrat al-Zalzalah to expel jinn.
